Greg Ross (CPA, CMA)
CO-FOUNDER AND PARTNER, FINANCE
Originally from Kingston, Ontario, Greg grew up in Richmond and attended BCIT for Financial Management and Accounting. While working in industry, Greg achieved his CPA and CMA and has spent the past 25+ years in various roles in finance, accounting, and operations. After being a senior leader for many years internally, Greg now uses his wealth of knowledge to advise and support clients to grow and develop their businesses.
Passionate about working with small to medium sized businesses to create the financial tools necessary to achieve their goals, Greg has expertise in leading acquisitions and providing the leadership and strength for overall business success.
Outside of the office, Greg can be found cooking delicious meals for his family or teeing off on the green.
Amber Jordan
CO-FOUNDER AND PARTNER, PEOPLE
From Vancouver, Amber graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. After extensive experience working as an in-house HR Executive, Amber co-founded Hydra with the mission to support small to medium sized organizations take their businesses to the next level. Amber loves helping individuals and teams thrive, and creating world-class cultures.
Outside of the office, Amber can be found hanging out with her two teenage sons and honing her baking skills. If she wasn’t in her current position, Amber would be running a bakery, coffee shop or competing on The Great British Bake-off.
Karl Rulofs
CO-FOUNDER AND PARTNER, TECHNOLOGY
From Vancouver, Karl has a Diploma in Technology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Bringing over 20 years of experience in technology leadership to the Hydra team, Karl combines business strategy with pragmatic execution to drive value from IT investments.
He is known for his ability to develop creative solutions to problems that others shy away from or claim can’t be done. Understanding that technological change can oftentimes be uncomfortable, Karl opts for a people-centric approach in which he helps companies leverage technology as a growth enabler rather than an inhibitor.
Outside of the office, Karl can be found sailing or fixing up cars. His dream is to one day be a race car or rally driver.
Anna Costa
SENIOR HR CONSULTANT
From São Paulo, Brazil Anna received a degree in Psychology from Centro Universitário FMU. After vacationing in Canada in 2010, Anna and her husband fell in love with the West Coast and decided to relocate to Vancouver.
With a passion for connecting with others and a drive to make everyone around her happy, Anna knew that a career in HR was the perfect fit. She has over 15 years of experience specializing in leadership and employee coaching, conflict resolution, performance and compensation management, and talent management.
Outside of the office, Anna can be found spending time with her husband and two young kids, going to the gym, or reading.
Sophie Stone
HR CONSULTANT
From Vancouver, Sophie holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and HR Management from Trinity Western University. Sophie has worked with a wide range of clients across many industries, helping with HR administration and project needs.
Passionate about a career in the HR world, Sophie thrives in dynamic environments, never backs down from new challenges, and strives to provide support for people to be successful at what they do.
Outside of the office, Sophie can be found traveling around the world, hosting dinner parties for her friends, or playing beach volleyball.
Jason Meneghin
ACCOUNTANT
From Vancouver, Jason attended Simon Fraser University where he studied Finance and Accounting. Before joining Hydra Brand Management, Jason worked as an Accountant for The Teal-Jones Group in Surrey.
Jason enjoys working with a great team and adding value to clients in various industries. What inspires him the most is watching people overcome obstacles through hard work and determination.
Outside of the office, Jason can be found spending time with his family or playing golf with friends.
